We’ve seen what ESPN can do with World Cup commercials. They might be better at commercials than any other company in the U.S. But what about outside of the U.S.? Argentine channel TyC Sports gives us a glimpse into a slightly different cultural approach to the sports commercial. One of the first things you notice is how a two minute commercial can give you insight into how a nation interacts with sport, rather than simply what a nation thinks is humorous or catchy. Argentine passion isn’t fabricated. They live the game perhaps better than any other nation. Check out the video below to get a eerily authentic look at the Argentine spirit. Every now and then, all of us should step outside of the ESPN machine and look around. It’s pretty awesome out there.
