About Our Ramblings

Through our collective experiences playing, taking in games, traveling, and absorbing football culture across six continents, we’ve collected numerous, often conflicting and sometimes cynical opinions on all things football.

Our goal is to highlight the breadth of global football culture by focusing on three areas – the game, football culture, and football as a tool for social change.  But don’t expect a formula.  One day you’ll read about horrible coaching, the next about political leaders, and the next day a cool sweatshirt and an organization in Colombia doing cool things with football.   Although the daily topics will range, you will ultimately be able to boil everything down to our essence – the game, football culture, and social change.  We believe that combining these three areas into one online space captures the dynamic nature of the world’s most popular game for both sophisticated football fans and those generally interested in global affairs and culture.
