So it shouldn&#8217;t be surprising that Fulham chairman Mohammad Al Fayed commissioned a statue of Michael Jackson outside of Craven Cottage, the club&#8217;s home ground. Certainly there is no better place to erect a statue of the King of Pop than outside of a football stadium. Travesty? Perhaps. Okay, travesty.<span id="more-6116"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.nutmegradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/MJ-statue.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-6118" title="MJ statue" src="http://www.nutmegradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/MJ-statue.jpg" alt="MJ statue" width="485" height="362" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Unsurprisingly, many Fulham supporters are not pleased. Al Fayed&#8217;s response? Go <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1372985/Mohammed-Al-Fayed-defends-Michael-Jackson-statue-Craven-Cootage.html" target="_blank">support Chelsea</a>.</p>
