People want to act like you can always separate your personal life from your professional life. Sometimes you can. It's just a bit more difficult when your personal failures involve your professional teammates. That's both a personal and professional issue.

Moral of the story is that to be captain of Engerland, you need passion...let's not get caught up in the technicalities of what for (sex/ drugs). Besides, every kid in the country thinks they have what it takes to put the coveted arm band on now. "If JT can do it, so can I."

The English FA has a done great job - replaced a sex addict by a drug addict. Also it is not sure also whether the new England captain will be fit enough to make it to the World Cup team. So the moral of the story is if you want to be a captain of England football team then you have to be either a drug addict or sex addict. Tiger Wood must be thinking - wish he was playing football in England....

Keep it together? Come on, this is John Terry we are talking about, not to mention that he is facing Arsenal (his favorite whipping boy of a team). Terry (not the greatest athlete of our time) is a fantastic footballer, more so because of his mind. He proved it again today against title fakers Arsenal. He does leave a lot to be desired when it comes to the Friend of the Year award.

I agree, Paul. JT will be fine. But if there are folks on the team who were close to Bridge, I can see them not being to pleased with their captain's behavior. But then again, I wouldn't be surprised if a number of them already knew about it.

I don't think anyone questions JT's strength on the pitch. But it's the team dynamic that will be affected.
