Daily Banter – 3.5.2010

by The Chairman

Post Pic

After firing their coach and celebrating their liberation with a loss to South Korea in a friendly on Wednesday, Les Éléphants are no longer looking like serious World Cup contenders. As if things weren’t chaotic enough, rumor has it that they have been in contact with Dutch coach Guus Hiddink about coaching the team during the World Cup. Yes, the same Guus Hiddink who announced his intention to coach Turkey starting in the summer of 2010 a few weeks ago. Are these guys crazy?  Seriously, how could this pre-tournament instability help?

These nations have sold their souls! I think they are all conspiring to keep their teams unstable and have no chances of winning at World Cup. Any intelligent person knows that you do not rock the boat before a major tournament,

    I love the T-shirts!

Conspiracy theory, huh. I’m on board, Kimbel. I love me some conspiracy theories. Who’s in on the conspiracy?
