Daily Banter – 5.20.2010

Ah, post-season banter.  Love it.  In today’s Telegrapgh, Alan Smith has a great article about Cesc Fabregas’ impending move to Barcelona.  According to Smith, Cesc stopped by Arsenal’s training ground to pick up his boots.  While there, he popped in for a meeting with Arsene Wenger. Smith then suggests that it’s safe to assume that Wenger didn’t like what he was told, continuing on to speak as if Fabregas used the occasion to inform Wenger that he is finished with the club.  Evidence of what Cesc and Wenger spoke about?  Not necessary.  Just trust that Alan Smith knows and that he’s a reliable psychic.  But if Smith really has psychic ability, he’s wasting his talent as a journalist.  He should be helping the authorities solve crimes.

Smith’s article ≤ Cesc’s haircut when he began with Arsenal.
