William Gallas is a man out to break records. Today he shows up to his third London club for a medical. Joining Tottenham, his former employer’s cross-town rivals, will hardly stir up the same type of vitriol that arose from Sol Campbell’s move in the opposite direction. Arsenal fans won’t hate Gallas because he joined Spurs. Arsenal fans will hate Gallas because they don’t like him. Chelsea fans know the score. But Gallas’ move raises another interesting question that I have no interest in researching: What player has signed for the most London clubs?
