Yesterday, Chad Ochocinco dropped the news that he will be training/have a tryout with the Sporting KC. It’s well known that Ochocinco is a soccer fan and he often tweets about how he could do a job for a major team. This story inspired Reuters to contemplate what other American football players might make an impact in MLS. Here are their ridiculous thoughts.

Chuck’s post on Ochopsycho raises a topic that many of us hypothesize about with some frequency — whether a top athlete in one sport would be able to compete at the highest level in another sport.  But since that’s such an open question, let’s focus on Ocho’s comment as applied to making the transition from American football to real football.
